Renovation process against 14 temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) that spread in East Jakarta has reached 70 percent. The renovation that has spent Rp 9 billion is targeted to be completed in early December 2019.

Wahyudi Rudianto, Section Head of Cleanliness and Waste B3 Processing stated that renovation keeps being accelerated.

"Actually the contract agreement is until December 20, but we'll try to finish the work on December 10," he stated, Tuesday (11/13).

Those TPSs already look damaged quite badly. The average level of damage is around 70-80 percent, especially on the roofs, walls and floors.

Some of those TPSs are Kampung Melayu TPS that is located under Kampung Melayu Flyover, RW 04 Rawabunga TPS on the opposite of the Viaduct Jatinegara Park, and Kampung Tengah TPS at Jalan Raya Tengah, Kramat Jati.
